 Children's Ministry

Children's / Junior Church
Every at Temple Baptist Church provides a separate Children's Service that is totally focused on teaching children the Bible on their level. On Sunday Mornings, we have 2 separate children's services that have been divided by age groups. Our Children's Church is for Kindergarten thru 2nd grade and our Junior Church is for children 3rd thru 6th grade.

Children's Choir
On Sunday evening we have a Children's Choir for children of all ages. These kids learn many different songs and plays that they then have the opportunity to minister in our main worship services on a regular basis.

 Sunday School

Sunday School is a vital part of any New Testament Church. It provides a place for people of all ages to come together and study God’s word, with each person in a class for their age and learning ability. Here at Temple Baptist Church, we provide such an environment through the efforts of many volunteers who love to teach God’s word and share the Gospel of Christ. So, unless you are taking the time to teach your children about the Bible, and what it means; come join us for Sunday school. Let’s learn about God the Father, Son, and Holy Spirit together!

Bus Ministry

Our church realizes that not everyone has the transportation necessary to attend all of our church services. We also recognize that there are also many children that need a way to church because their parents' work schedule might not allow them to have the opportunity to come to church. Therefore, through much prayer, God has lead us to establish a bus ministry. We have licensed and insured drivers, and our buses will run every week to pick you and/or your children up to bring them to Sunday School and AWANA Clubs.
If your child will need a ride or know of someone who will, please do not hesitate to call our church office at (731) 686-8701. All of our riders must have their parent or guardian's consent.

 Angel Food

Angel Food Ministries is a non-profit, non-denominational organization dedicated to providing food relief and financial support to communities throughout the United States. the program began in 1994 with 34 families in Monroe, Georgia, and has grown to serve hundreds of thousands of families every month across 35 states. Angel Food Ministries crosses denominational lines and has spread the good news of the gospel of Christ through salvation tracts that are placed in each food order.

Angel Food is available in a quantity that can fit into a medium-sized box at $30 per unit. Each month's menu is different that the previous month and consists of both fresh and frozen items with an average retail value of approximately $60. Comparison shopping has been done across the country in various communities using a wide range of retail grocery stores and has resulted in the same food items costing from between $42 and $78.

Generally, one unit of food assists in feeding a family of four for about one week or a sing senior citizen for almost a month. The food is all the same high quality one could purchase at a grocery store. There are no second-hand items, no damaged or out=dated goods, no dented cans without labels, no day-old breads and no produce that is almost too ripe.

Also offered are specialty boxes such as steaks, chicken and pork. Many participants in this bonus program appreciate the expanded choices. Additionally, there is no limit to the number of units or bonus foods an individual can receive, and there are no applications to complete or qualifications to which participants must adhere. Angel Food Ministries also participates in the U. S. Food Stamp program, using the off-line Food Stamp Voucher system.

Music Ministry

The Bible says in Psalms 66:1 - "Make a joyful noise unto the Lord all ye lands."

We believe God intends for us to come and worship him when we enter into the house of the Lord. Our choir practices every Sunday just before the evening service. Everyone is encouraged to join the choir should they ever feel led of the Lord to do so. Choir practice is open to everyone from teenagers to adults. All that is required is a heart that is ready to worship.

Music Director
